Property Auction Action is an information service. We publish upcoming property auction dates, a directory of UK auction houses, and a searchable index of lots due to be auctioned.
We are not an auctioneer, an estate agent, a valuer or a property adviser. We do not sell property, we take no part in bidding, and we are not a party to any contract between you and an auction house or a seller.
Auction information changes constantly
Auction dates, lot details, photographs and auction house information come from third parties or are compiled from publicly available sources. Lots are withdrawn, sold prior to auction, re-scheduled and re-catalogued, often at very short notice.
We take reasonable care, but we cannot warrant that anything here is accurate, complete or current.
Always confirm details directly with the auction house before you act. Do not rely on this site alone when deciding to travel to an auction, register to bid, or place a bid. The auction house’s own catalogue and legal pack are the authoritative source.
Guide prices
A guide price is an indication of where bidding may open. It is not a valuation, not a reserve, and not a prediction of what a lot will sell for. The reserve may be higher than the guide.

Buying at auction commits you contractually on the fall of the hammer, usually with a deposit payable immediately and completion within a short fixed period. Read the legal pack and take your own professional advice before you bid.
